Today, I wanted to share with you my honest review the software, Done For You HERO. DFY Hero.
If you have watched my previous videos or reading articles, you know how much I love the website builder software. And, I hate scam software.
So, I wanted to show you some details about the software and my honest thoughts of it.
When I first time saw this software from the Facebook group, it recognized me another software, Squeeze Funnels. I am not sure they are the same developer, but both software uses the WordPress similar interface to create blog sites.
DFY Hero is a Cloud-Based software to choose the website design template first, and customize from there.
What makes DFY Hero a special to you?
DFY Hero uses the WordPress interface design to create a blog site not a simple one or two pages website.
If you get Deluxe Account one-time fee will get 102 total website themes to select and start to customize.
I just purchased a Deluxe account to test and decide whether to keep this software or not.

A quick overview of their deal is now offering a one-time cost to keep the software and create unlimited websites.
And, they have 30 days money back guarantee.
It sounds really great, so, let's started why you may want this DFY HERO or just pass the deal.
When it's your first-time login to the DFY HERO, you will find all available templates to choose from.
I will choose one of the random ones.
Next will be choosing your website name and URL. You can use your own domain name, but first, you have to choose your subdomain of the dfyhero.com.
You will need to create your website ID and PS.
In a few seconds, you will be able to access the DFY HERO dashboard.
We now can see where to Custom Domain.
When we click the plan button, you will see
– No Setup Fee
– Unlimited Posts
– Unlimited Pages
– Unlimited Media
– Unlimited Sites
– 100MB Disk Space
This 100MB Disk Space is not showing anywhere inside of their official website, if I am wrong, please correct me.
I already opened a ticket to the support team for this 100mb disk space. They confirmed that they will remove the limitation and change all accounts to unlimited disk space.
DFY HERO team has a pretty good job to remove unused WordPress features.
DFY HERO Dashboard is for finding all my sites and add a new one if I want to.
"My Posts" is for creating your blog article.
You will find a bunch of blog articles, make sure to delete them all.
"Media Library" page is for the photos and videos storage. If you use the WooCommerce to sell the digital product, you can also upload the file into the Media Library to deliver.
My Pages will be creating a new page. Each one of the menu links is the pages.
If you get any comments will find them inside of the Blog comments.
DFY HERO also added the Form creation plugin. In this form, you can create a contact form, feedback, quizzes, receive files, let users select checkboxes, etc.
All you need is adding the SHORTCODE to any pages or posts.
Elementor is a website builder. You can use their frontend website editor tool to create your website.
If you created your own design and if you want to use it to another page, you can save them to the Templates page. There is an Export template button to each design and import button is located on the top of the page.
If you want to use already built in Elementor Popup design will be a separate fee. But, if you can create your own design will be free.
To customize your basic theme, you can find it under "My Site Appearance" and go to the Customize page.
The most of the times, you will go to the Widgets which is setting up your sidebar.
With WordPress, you can create more sidebars and footers, but DFY HERO removed them to make it simpler. Elementor is using their own footer style to build. So, you don't really need the Footer option inside fo the Widget.
And, the Menu page is important to set up the Footer and Header menu.
If you don't set up the menu will not show each page link on the website.
Now, it's plugin section.
I was wondering how I can add new plugins to the DFY HERO. Actually, there is no place to install any new plugins.
That means it's a little limited to customize your website.
I always install these plugins to my WordPress sites,
Jetpack by WordPress.com
Really Simple SSL
WP Super Cache
Additionally, I add some more plugins to optimize the site.
Including all these listed plugins and others are already installed to the DFY HERO that makes a better to customize the website.
I was surprised by seeing the WooCommerce there. WooCommerce is an E-store that can sell anything you want into this platform.
That means you can create your online shopping store with DFY HERO.
General Settings will be your WordPress site setting. This is where you can set up your Permalink style, site name, Timezone, email address, to enable to write or disable the comments, and set up the main page.
Ok, so that's an overall very quick overview of the backend of the DFY HERO. If you are already familiar with WordPress backend, you now know what 's there and what's not.
Next, I want to show you how you can start to customize each page design. First of all, go to "My PAGES."
We have already selected the templates, so you will find all different pages are already created and published. Of course, you can create a new page by clicking "Add New." I will show you how to use the Elementor website builder by editing the Home page.
I will open the HOME page now. It's already designed by Elementor, so we must click the "Edit with Elementor."
This will go to the front end your design and start to edit anything you want.
Left click will open the setting of the element you selected on the left sidebar, Right click will show you quick custom choice. There are so many features with Elementor. If I show you all the details about the Elementor, this video will be endless. So, I will show you only a few things I think it's the most important.
When you want to edit the text, you can click the text or you can use the left sidebar to edit. You can find all the text settings in Content, Style, and Advanced.
You can always right-click any element to edit. For example, if you want to change the image, right-click the image and choose the Edit. Click the Style and switch the image.
If you want to add something new between elements, you can drag and drop the element. For the PRO ones will not be available if you are not an Elementor paid customer. But, you don't need it because we have tons of other elements are available for us to use.
Another way to add new blocks and elements, click the + icon. The MAGIC button is where you can choose the blocks, templates. Red + icon is to select your structure or column. You can drag dots to make wider or shorter. You can right click to add a new column or delete.
If you have a hard time to select each element, you can right click and open the "Navigator." In this Navigator, you can drag a part of the design to place on the top or bottom of the page.
Now, let's click the three lines to set up the Style and Settings. Inside of the Style, you can set up the website theme colors and Default Fonts.
On the bottom of the sidebar, there is a gear icon. You can change the Title which is the page name, status change to draft or publish. And, you can go to the "Advanced" to add your CSS code.
If you want to check your design editing history, click the History icon. ACTIONS will show you each one of the editing processes. REVISIONS will show when and what time this website design has revised. You can retrieve to the previous design from here.
Next one is the Responsive mode.
Nowadays, almost half of the worldwide web traffic is coming from the Mobile device. So, it's very important to check whether your website is mobile responsive or not.
If you want to customize the margin between element on only for Mobile phone users, you can do it as well.
Preview is to check your design without the website editor turned on.
Finally, click update, save a draft, or save as a template.
Now, you are done to create the HOME page.
Click Exit to Dashboard button to go back to the backend of "My Pages."
I was a little curious about the DFY HERO limitations on creating the website. But, as you can see, there are not many things DFY HERO removed the WordPress functionality.
I didn't cover each one of the plugins in this video, but if you are interested in knowing more about them, please leave a comment right below. I will need to create a separate video for it.
I don't think I can use DFY HERO for the PBN sites because we are not allowed to install the plugin to connect with my main site. And, I was not able to find where we can do a backup site. There is a revision section inside of the Elementor feature, but I will need a little more time to figure out a faster way for us to backup sites.
What did you think about the DFY HERO? DFY HERO is on the deal right now offering only one-time cost to create an unlimited website. After purchase the deal will be available a template club. You will get new templates per month.
I don't think I will ask for a refund if they remove the limited Disk Space as they promised.
With DFY HERO, you don't need
– Domain name
– Research on WordPress Website builder
– No extra cost for the support
I am thinking to create more WordPress helpful videos who is interested in selling digital and physical products by using the WooCommerce. DFY HERO is also using the WooCommerce, so if you subscribe to my channel, you will receive the new update of the DFY HERO and make money online from your online shopping store.
